My prayer for me and you is for us to 100% come to HIM.....
For his word says:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 NIV
I really like how "The Message" translates it....
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
All we got to do is come to him and hand it over to him..fully , completely and whole heartily to be ready to accept the sweet rest our Lord offers and promises. He will carry the burdens for us. What true LOVE HE is!!!
I know its easy to say OK... God I can't handle this and we THINK we give it to him only to pick it right back up again. It's like saying just kidding I got this, Lord! When in reality WE ain't (yep I said AINT') got nothing...He does!! We can live our lives trying to THINK we can handle all things of this world on our own,blame others, act tough about it, ignore it and put it on the back burner and even talk to others about it.(I admit I have found myself in all of these at one time and still dealing with a few today) The it will still be there no matter how hard WE try to fix it. Only HE can and that's why his words should be present in our troubles and tucked in our hearts. HE is king of peace, the ONLY king of peace!!
Truth- Friends I'm overwhelmed and in need of my Saviors rest in my soul and my mind. I'm in need of daily rest as a wife and mother of 2, with friends, enemies, my darkest battles of this world and from the enemy ,who's goal is to destroy me. I will choose no other way, but to Come to the father and cry out to him , give him all of me and say help me Lord for I am weary.
Think about it...are you overwhelmed , tired or burden with the weight of this world?! We all are...But, What a BIG move it is to say yes and a TRIUMPH move it will be to come to HIM 100% .
My prayer is that you will be able to find some quiet time,pray, be still and listen to HIM...He knows your heart, your troubles, he loves you and is saying, Come to me..... Matthew 11:28
